Feria Asi es mi Tierra-Artisan Fair This is my Land
Artisan fair every weekend from 8:00-6:00 pm in the central plaza of Suchitoto. Besides being open every weekend this fair is open on all major holidays and most of November and December.
About 15 different stands each with unique handicrafts from around El Salvador. Several local artisans also produce and sell their individual y one of a kind works.
La Tortuga Feliz-The Happy Turtle Train Tour
The Happy Turtle Train Tour operates every Saturday and Sunday as well as most major holidays.
It parks on the main plaza close to the church and departs every 20-30 minutes making its route around Suchitoto with a few stops to provide some of Suchitoto’s history(in Spanish).
The cost of this tour is only $1.00/person and the trips last from 15-20 minutes. Fun for the whole family and an easy way to discover Suchitoto.
