Shanay's Gallery
The well know local painter Shanay reopened his gallery in
July of 2008. This new effort is supported by three of his disciples, Mauricio
Escobar, Victor Manuel Aguilar and Naty. The works of all four painters can
be seen and purchased at the gallery which is open every weekend from 9:00
am till 6:00 pm. In general one of the artists will be there to attend to
the public. If you visit Suchitoto this is a must see and a good chance to
obtain original art at very reasonable prices.
Arrangements can be made to visit the gallery during the week by contacting
the webmaster of this site in advance.
The Gallery is located just behind the Santa Lucia church on the northeast
corner.
